Women Travel Tips from the Gutsy Traveler, Marybeth Bond Safety Tips | Advice for Packing | Travel Alone | Budget Travel Tips | Family Travel

Welcome fellow travelers,

On this site you’ll find travel tips that I picked up traveling through six continents and more than 75 countries, from the depths of the Flores Sea to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I have traveled alone (for two years), with my husband, my children and my girlfriends. Perhaps you’ve read about my adventures in my eleven travel books, for Travelers Tales and National Geographic.

As a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show as a women travel expert, I urged women to travel and "be gutsy".  Many courageous women are already traveling, are on the road as you click through this site. And many more women need only a word or two of encouragement to step out the door to travel. Perhaps you're collecting information to give that encouragement to your sister, daughter, friend, wife or mother.

Help me build this site and
share my passion — not only
for travel — but for life itself.
